Welcome back, everyone! I hope that you are staying healthy and safe during this time of quarantine. I was sitting here attempting to think of what I could share with you in a blog post for a few days and finally came up with an idea. For the next seven days, I am going to share a random picture(s) with you from a day in my life. They could be current or old. Then I’ll share some random facts about myself that you may not know.
So here’s the first two photos.

Random fact: I fish! Yup…and that’s me seven years ago on a fishing trip with the hubby, kids, Joe, a former coworker of hubby’s, and his friend.
This was a striped bass, or rock fish as we call them here in Maryland, that I caught out on the Chesapeake Bay.
When I say “I” caught, I really mean “we” because it took me, Joe, Joe’s friend, AND my hubby to real this sumbitch in!
You might not be able to tell, but this fish is almost as long as I am tall (refrain from short jokes, please!) and extremely H E A V Y! When they get hooked, the fight they give you is REAL!
That was a great day! We each caught a fish this size or a little bigger or smaller. We went out early in the morning, and by 11AM or so we caught our limit (1 fish per person) then headed back to land where Joe gutted and cleaned them for us.
Nothing tastes better or more fresh than fish you catch yourself.
So there’s your first random fact about Audra the writer.

I am glad you had help pulling that thing in, otherwise I would have been bragging about a daughter who is a mermaid…
